Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will launch Bharat Vidya, an internet studying platform for Oriental and South Asian research, in Pune Wednesday.
Designed and developed by the Bhandarkar Oriental Analysis Institute (BORI), Bharat Vidya is a first-of-its-kind on-line platform, which can provide each free and paid programs masking numerous facets of Indology pertaining to artwork, structure, philosophy, language and science.
To start with, six programs – Veda Vidya, Bharatiya Darshanshashtra, Sanskrit studying, 18 Parvas of Mahabharata, Fundamentals of Archaeology and Kalidasa and Bhasha – have been introduced.
Many programs have been designed on the traces of Nationwide Schooling Coverage (NEP) 2020. BORI has collaborated with just a few Indian and international universities for awarding credit for a few of its programs.
