Paul Malloy, who oversaw roughly $300 billion in municipal belongings at funding titan Vanguard Group, has left the agency after over 20 years. 

Justin Schwartz, who managed Vanguard’s municipal alternate traded and cash market funds, will take over as head of municipals, mentioned a Vanguard spokesperson. John Grimes was appointed to Schwartz’s position, which incorporates overseeing the biggest muni bond alternate traded fund.  

“Paul Malloy has determined to go away Vanguard to pursue different alternatives,” spokesperson Jessica Schifalacqua mentioned in an e mail. Malloy didn’t instantly reply to a voice mail in search of remark.
