A Lancashire-based supplier of safety and electrical installations has been acquired by its administration workforce in a deal supported by the company finance workforce at MHA Moore and Smalley.

Safety and Electrical Installations Ltd, which trades as SEI, has been purchased from majority shareholders and founders Paul Mercer and Alan Ogden.

Administrators Bradley Ogden, Ian Hearle, Callon Ogden and Sharon Clarke have acquired the enterprise for an undisclosed sum and can take over the day-to-day operating of the Leyland-based agency.

SEI specialises within the set up and testing of safety, information cabling and electrical programs for a variety of commercial and business shoppers together with the NHS, HM Jail Service, training suppliers and native authorities. The corporate can be well-known for its work on excessive safety websites within the power, utilities and defence sectors.

The company finance and tax groups at MHA Moore and Smalley suggested Paul and Alan on the sale of the enterprise, offering deal structuring, valuation and tax recommendation.
